Most parents believe their children desire the newest, shiniest toys. So when second hand goods platform Marktplaats asked us to help them convince parents to buy more used toys this holiday season, we knew we had to come up with a very convincing idea.

Like Marktplaats, we believe children don’t care about newness. And it turns out, the proof of this is right in front of every parent’s eyes, all the time. Children always want another child’s toy. So, why not give it to them?
